Using your digital camera - the basics

So you have this GREAT digital camera and just can't for the life of you figure out how to get it to do all things you know it can do!! This is the class that can help you learn the basics of YOUR camera, how to download your pictures, file them and print them out. What to bring: Digital Camera and instruction book - Extra lens or camera extras - Digital Media cards for your camera - Laptop computer if you have one - notebook, writing implement - snacks, water - a willingness to try something new. General Butler State Park Hike Photo Shoot/Editing

4:00 pm - about 7:30 pm
These classes are set up to give a short introduction to the 'assignment', lighting, composition and idea discussions. We will make use of the late afternoon light for our photo shoot. Then we will have a break for some food coming back to downloading our pictures and discussion of your images. You are encouraged to ask questions, brainstorm and have fun. There will be 1 to 1-1/2 hours to go out in nature and discover your perfect photo. Bring your camera, small tripod if you can get one, digital media cards, batteries, re-charger,  laptop computer if you have one, a blank read/write CD, water, brown bag dinner, and clothes that you can get dirty, in case you find something interesting below knee level.
